Subject: Animal machines
Apologies for crossposting
Prompted by last week's New Scientist article on the Leech Barometer and
Snail Telegraph I am lookng into other items of technology which rely on a
live animal (or parts of one) as part of it's working rather than just as a
power source - can anyone come up with others, ancient or modern, apart from
these two?
Many Thanks
