Now _this_ is poetry
(poetry in motion?)

I quote:
On five laps to go
H.G.: "You were at the rear of the field
here, what were you
thinking Steven?"
Steven: "Well I went in with the same
plan as the
semi-final, which was to sit at the back
and hope that there
were a lot of collisions."
H.G.: "And here you are, following that
plan to absolute
perfection. You've got three laps to go,
are you still thinking
anything can happen?"
Steven: "No, I'm thinking my legs are
hurting and I'm
probably going to finish fifth."
H.G.: "You seem to be dropping off here,
but none of us had
given up hope on you because it's short
track and you're in
the final. You come to two laps to go and
it does look as if
your race might be over, but noooooo.
Here we go. Your
pedal to the metal, there goes a bit of
argy bargy, the
Canadian's out, Ohno's out, and look
who's there."
On the competition
Roy: "Were you tempted, Steve, to stop
and help them up?"
H.G.: "And if that was the case, you
wouldn't have had the
momentum or the ability to stop before
you crossed the line,
you would have had to crossed the line
pull up and go back
and pull them across the line. How did it
feel when all that
happened in front of you?"
Steven: "It was very scary, I guess.
Everyone went down in
front of me and I was like, 'Oh my God, I
think I just won'."
