Lawrence, I don't know why this is front channel - but fine.
I don't give a fuck about cutting edge or mainstream and never have.
If Tim O'Dwyer was coming too I'd suggest the performances we've been
doing with improvisatory sax, he works with the New Music ensemble
Elision and composes as a solo artist as well and is a pretty
interesting musician - but without a musician I'm afraid I'm just a
reader. I could try a reading of something like The Breach, a
collaborative text for improvisation I wrote for the performer Faruk
Avdi, or this other piece I'm planning with the composer Andree
Greenwell for an installation opera, but those are really written for
other (real) performers, in order to facilitate something else. I
could probably do with another voice, but I'll be on my own.
