Well, Icelandic, Italian and now Scots, I'm quite tickled. Thanks to Arni,
Anny and Rob for their versions, an aside to Rob, how would you parse the
metrics of the original? I deliberately made it non-conformist in form,
despite the end-rhyme.
Btw the Archilochus echo wasn't conscious, I knew I was echoing something
but couldn't think what it was.
