The reference to Ermine, (you must have equally sweetly taken into sound
investigation intoyour old and tattered primary school encylopedia to be
so dearly neat on the characteristic of that little creature....the little
creature you have mentioned, white, at times, and at times the colour of
the earth)  is not enough interesting.

But I am puzzled by you quoting twice Mr Harry Mathews. If it is true that
last August 2001 in Manhattan(I was there merely to visit my mafioso
family) I have been living in the same building - actually in a flat on
the floor below - that of Mister John Ashberry, it is also very true that
I never had the pelasure to meet Harry. Especially Harry Mathews.


How is it possible that he was talking about me, WITH YOU?  Why are you
