Dear Sam,
As part of our workstation assessments we fully educated people on the set
up and use of the chairs after finding quite a large amount of people did
not have the knowledge to set the chair appropriately. The incidence of
problems then dropped dramatically. We then sought advice from a specialist
from the chair manufacturer who assessed our employees with continued
problems and provided a chair on loan for a trial period to individuals to
ensure it was appropriate for them. This obviously ensured the exercise had
a cost benefit we could explain to managers.
hope this helps.
