Hello everyone any advise on the following would be greatly appreciated.
I have just been asked to meet with our regional sales managers next
Tuesday night prior to them meeting with their teams the following day
.When the teams will be told of radical down sizing which inevitable will
lead to role changes as well as job losses.
I have been asked by HR to meet with the managers to advise what reactions
to expect and how they can manage this.I will also be available after the
announcement to meet with any of the team members on a one to one basis.
I should mention that we do have an employee care programme which I have
had positive dealing with but some of our sales people are contractors and
therefore not eligible to use this facility.
I would also like to take the opportunity to sell the Occupational Health
Department and all it has to offer but not just in a crisis situation such
as I feel this is. As this development has been kept very hush hush.
