I've taken a look at the copies of "Mathews' Bristol Directory", and its
successors, "Wright's" and "Kelly's" in Bristol University Library and there
are several possibilities:-
James Gregory, engineer & ironfounder, Warmley, 1867 - 1882
James Gregory, engineer & ironfounder, Kingswood, 1883 - 1905
James Gregory, engineer & ironfounder, Hill Street, Kingswood, 1907 - 1909
George Gregory & Co, engineers, 10 High Street, Kingswood, 1909 -1921
George Gregory, engineer, Honey Hill, Kingswood, 1924 -1932
Geo E Gregory, general engineer, High Street, Kingswood, 1933 - 1940
Gaps in this sequence are due to missing copies of the directories, and
Kingswood isn't included before about 1865 or after about 1944.
I don't think the change from Warmley to Kingswood is necessarily
significant and is probably due to a change in the boundaries of Kingswood,
rather than of business premises.
