Of course, if meetings were held near the NEC just outside Birmingham (there
are a number of conference facilities nearby) this would be right at or very
near where the following meet: M5, M6, M40, M42, Birmingham International
Railway Station (mainline links to all over Britain), Birmingham
International Airport (air links to all over world), and not very far from
M1 with its onward road links, and within a short bus, taxi or train journey
from a main bus and coach station.
But maybe I'm biased because I live only about a half-hour's drive from the
NEC! I'm not a Brummie, and I used to live in the South-East, but I feel
that sometimes national organisations are unnecessarily London-centric.
