I would welcome some devolution of CILIP activities to the regions
etc, as long as the branches/groups are adequately supported in the
role. As someone in the (proper!) south west, I think it would be
true to say that we look more to local groups to provide courses
because of the distance and costs involved in attending London-based
events. Catching the 5.55 am London train on a too frequent basis is
not good for one's constitution!
