guidance on clinical and cost effectiveness to the NHS in England and Wales
through its Technology Appraisals and Clinical Guidelines.
The Institute has created a new information specialist post within the
Technology Appraisals Team, which will provide a stimulating and supportive

librarianship/information science, skills/experience in searching the
health/medical literature, in particular the resources used to support
evidence-based health care, basic knowledge of routine health and health
care data, developing and delivering library services, and the ability to
work independently to tight deadlines and flexibly as part of a
multidisciplinary research team.
The post will be based at the Institute’s offices in central London.
