The Big Blue project's "Good Practice" case studies are now available in
full on the project website at
http://www.leeds.ac.uk/bigblue/casestudies.htm .
The case studies show examples of a variety of good practice at Post-16 and
HE institutions around the UK including:
* University of Aberdeen- where pre and post self-assessment has been
used in conjunction with information skills sessions
* Southport College- where a compulsory Information Skills course is
delivered to all first-year, full-time 16-18 students
* University of Leeds- where Library staff are involved in teaching a
compulsory module to first year Geography students
* Tamworth and Lichfield College- where induction sessions have been
piloted using the Learnwise VLE
Please take the time to have a look at them if you can, and let me have any
feedback,
Claire
