Dear Julie,
Thanks for your comment about printing from BLPC - we welcome observations
like this so that we can supply an answer to the LIS-ILL community. It's not
a problem as such, but due to the frames environment. The last mouse click
you make selects the frame to print, therefore you need to click within the
'white' frame to print the record you actually want.
Hope this helps!

Sorry to get involved in this personal query. Sometimes we have had problems
printing from BLPC - We only get the menu screens to print. I have found
the
way round this is to click on the page giving details of the books then
print.
This usually helps .
I do not if our print problem is the same as the one under discussion. But
this
info may help

Dear Dorothy,
You raised this question during our meeting last Thursday afternoon. I was
not aware of this as a problem with BLPC and since then I have been in
consultation with both our catalogue support and technical support people
here at the British Library to find the answer for you.
They have run extensive tests on a networked Win 2000 machine, and can't
replicate the problem you have with printing records from BLPC. Judging by
what we have found and from Una O'Malley's reply lower, we think it must be
a local network problem.
I have replied to LIS-ILL just to let everyone know that BLPC is alive and
well!
with best wishes,
Peter

We don't have any problems printing off from BLPC which is pretty amazing as
our printer is very temperamental. Sorry, I can't be of more assistance!

Is anyone else having trouble printing off records from BLPC? We are
finding that when we try to print of from PCs using Windows 2000, it causes
the PC to crash. This even happens if we copy the record onto Word first
then try to print the Word document. Our systems people are baffled! Is it
just us?
