Like many people who have already responded to the list we don't have the
time to check regularly if we still have access to electronic journals.
Actually we don't even have the time to add URLs to all the journals which
include electronic access with print subscriptions, as I have just found
while trying to check access to Sage journals!
We've had problems with subscription renewals to MIT Press journals (via
CatchWord). It took at least a dozen email messages between us,
SwetBlackwell, CatchWord/ingenta and MIT Press and a couple of weeks to
gain access to 2002 issues of one title. I have now checked other MIT
Press titles and access to the 2002 issues don't seem to have been
activated for any of them although we have renewed our subscriptions.
Are other libraries experiencing the same problem? Our print
subscriptions to these titles are placed via SwetsBlackwell's FAST
service.
