The Nature and Function of Positive Perceptions in Parental
Adjustment to Children with Intellectual Disabilities
From September/October I will have two positions available to work
on a project looking at adjustment in families of children with
intellectual disabilities, especially the role of positive beliefs in
the adjustment process.
Position 1 will be a Research Fellowship for 30 months. A PhD in a
related research area would be an advantage or experience as a
research assistant/associate/fellow on one or more related projects.
Position 2 will be a PhD studentship to study a topic in family
adjustment to raising a child with an intellectual disability.
