Geo-Environmental/Geo-Technical Engineer (Landfill), Glasgow.  Salary £neg

Our prestigious client, a major UK consultancy providing services to the
engineering/environmental industries, is urgently looking to recruit a
senior consultant to work within its Glasgow office. With upwards of 5
years’ experience, preferably gained within a civil engineering
background, you will be joining the waste section of the waste, water and
contaminated land division. Experience of landfill engineering is
essential, preferably with design experience. Any experience of geo-
environmental monitoring and modelling is also highly desirable (i.e.
leachate transport, landfill gas etc), as is remediation design relating
to these aspects.

Senior Geo-Technical Engineer, Based London   Salary £neg

Our client, the London – based office of a major UK and overseas
consultancy is looking to recruit a senior geo-environmental engineer with
geo-technical experience to join its rapidly expanding team. With a sound
technical background within all aspects of contaminated land assessment
and remediation you will also have strong geo-technical skills, covering
aspects such as landfill engineering/design, slope stability,
foundation/pilings and other relevant aspects. The position will provide
general support to the growing geo-technical business within the area
whilst providing added support to the geo-environmental team.
Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience, but certainly very
competitive within the marketplace.

Chartered Civil Engineer, Based South Wales    Salary £30-38k dependant on
skills and experience.

Our prestigious client, a UK consultancy specialising in the provision of
soil and groundwater investigation/remediation, is looking to recruit an
MICE chartered civil engineer to work within its South Wales office. With
experience of contaminated land assessments and civils-based remediation
design, you will have a sound technical background preferably within a geo-
technical or engineering geology capacity. Projects involved in the role
will include a variety of contracts within the energy, property and
petroleum sectors throughout the UK.
Salary for the role will be commensurate with skills and experience
brought to the role, but will certainly be competitive within the
marketplace. The working atmosphere will be supportive within this

Project Manager/Scientist, Based South Wales   Salary £18-27k dependant on

experienced, capable contaminated land consultant to work within the South
Wales – based office. With experience of all stages of project management,
you will have a strong technical background within contaminated land
assessment/remediation projects, covering aspects such as phase 1 and 2
assessments, budget control and client liaisons, along with liaisons with
appropriate regulatory bodies. The role will involve varied high profile
contaminated land and groundwater projects, from initial investigations
right through to remediation.
Salary for the role will be commensurate with skills and experience
brought to the role, but will certainly be very competitive within the

recruit a senior environmental engineer to join its rapidly expanding
team. With upwards of 4 years experience, you will have a strong technical
background within all aspects of contaminated land assessment and
remediation, coupled with excellent project management and client liaison
skills. A general knowledge and any experience of geo-technical aspects of
site investigation/remediation is also strongly desirable.
Salary for the role will be commensurate with skills and experience, but
certainly competitive within the marketplace.


Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer/Project Manager, Based North-West Salary
£Excellent

Our prestigious client, the UK office of a European consultancy, is
looking to recruit a Geo-Environmental engineer with 2-5 years' experience
within the contaminated land/brownfield investigations arena to fulfil a
senior engineer/project manager position created by expansion within the
division. The post will involve provision of day to day support to the
divisional manager, therefore experience of various stages of project life
and team support/management is required. Suitable candidates will have a
strong technical background, with experience of aspects of both Geo-
environmental and Geo-technical engineering, including slope stability,
landfill, ground gas and foundation investigation and remedial design,
interpretive report writing, ground modelling and any experience of mining
studies would also be useful. In return the client offers a competitive

Hydrogeologist, Based Bristol/Birmingham,  Salary £Competitive

Our client, a large consultancy with branches throughout the UK, is
looking to recruit an MSc – qualified hydrogeologist with 18 months +
experience in a relevant field. The role will involve assisting in the
conceptual modelling of contaminated land with a primary focus on
groundwater (i.e. Modflow or similar). Experience of any phase of project
life is required, from desk study through to site investigation and
subsequent design of remedial work. In return the client is offering a
competitive salary within the market, along with the opportunity to
progress within the company.

 Environmental Engineers, Based Manchester and Leeds,  Salary £competitive

Our client, the UK offices of a major UK and international consultancy, is
urgently looking to recruit experienced engineers to join its rapidly
expanding teams. Preferably qualified to MSc standards, you will have
between 1 and 4 years’ experience post graduation, featuring experience of
all aspects of phase 1 and 2 of contaminated land assessment. You will
also have excellent report writing skills, and have the ability to produce
quality factual and interpretive reports within time and budget
constraints. Experience of any aspects of geo-technical investigations and
assessments will also be an advantage.

Geo-technical Engineer, Based Wiltshire,  Salary £neg

Our client, a large consultancy with branches throughout the UK, is
looking to recruit a BSC/BEng - qualified geotechnical engineer to work
within its Wiltshire – based office. With upwards of 3 years’ experience
post-graduation you will have experience of the preparation of site
investigation contracts and the drafting of specifications of requirements
for investigations. Experience of client contact is also strongly

Senior Environmental Engineer/Auditor, Based London,  Salary £Competitive.

The London office of a predominantly Northern–based UK consultancy
providing engineering consultancy services to a range of public and
private sector clients is looking to recruit a Senior Environmental
Engineer/Auditor to support the growing business in the region. With
upwards of 5 years’ relevant experience, you will have a strong technical
background within the contaminated land arena and be knowledgeable of
contaminated land regulation, environmental liabilities and environmental
law. You will also be comfortable dealing with relevant UK regulatory
authorities. Experience of environmental due diligence auditing is
essential, along with general project management experience. Due to the
amount of client contact within the role, first class written and verbal
communication skills are paramount.
The role itself will be based in London; however project commissions will
require extensive travel throughout the UK, so a degree of flexibility in
this respect is essential.
The role will be challenging, and therefore remuneration will be highly

Senior Risk Assessor, Based South Wales     Salary £30-35k dependant on
skills and experience.

Our prestigious client, a UK consultancy specialising in the provision of
soil and groundwater investigation/remediation, is looking to recruit a
Risk Assessment Specialist to work from its South Wales – based office.
With 5 to 10 years relevant experience, preferably within a consultancy
background, you will have a strong technical background within
contaminated land assessment and remediation, along with substantial
experience of quantitative human health risk assessment, quantitative
groundwater risk assessment, and contaminant fate and transport. To
successfully fulfil the role, you will also be conversant with current UK
best practice. Experience of utilising a variety of commercial modelling
packages (including RBCA, RICS-Human and similar) is also highly
desirable.
The role will involve a large degree of responsibility, including
developing and communicating risk assessment throughout the company. First
class communication and interpersonal skills will therefore also be

secure an environmental presence in the South West of England.  As such
our client is seeking a senior Contaminant / Remediation Consultant to
head up the South West offices’ environmental team. New start experience
is strongly desirable, as is a strong yet diverse technical background.

Senior Contaminated Land Consultant, Based Guildford   Salary

property and industrial sectors is looking to recruit a senior
contaminated land consultant/scientist for its South-East – based office.
Preferably qualified to MSc standards, suitable candidates will have
between 3 and 5 years’ experience of either geo-environmental or combined
geo-technical/geo-environmental investigations. The position will involve
project management of all aspects of phase 1 and 2 investigations,
therefore candidates should have a strong technical background, coupled

months and 2 years’ experience of on-site geo-technical or geo-
environmental investigations, you will be required to assist in all stages
of phase 1 and 2 investigations. A relevant degree or equivalent
qualification is essential.
Salary will be commensurate for the level of experience, but certainly

Contaminated Land Consultants (Report Writing Experience), Based
Guildford/Sheffield

Our client, a major UK consultancy providing services to the petroleum,
property and industrial sectors is looking to recruit a contaminated land
consultant to work within various UK locations. With around 1-3 years
experience within a similar role, you will be fully versed with creating
first class interpretive and factual reports within both timescale and
budget constraints. Experience of dealing with regulatory authorities is
also pre-requisite for the role, along with some experience of on-site
assessment/remediation work. Candidates should have an active interest in
the remediation involved also.
Salary will be commensurate for the level of experience, but certainly
highly competitive within the industry.

Senior Contaminated Land Scientist, Based Guildford

Our client, a major UK consultancy providing services to the petroleum,
property and industrial sectors is looking to recruit a senior
contaminated land consultant to work within its South-East – based office.
With upwards of 4 years experience in a related field, you will have a
strong technical background within remediation, and a broad knowledge of
all phases of contaminated land work at all stages of project life. An
engineering background would be advantageous. The focus of the role will
require a comprehensive understanding of the impact of chemistry, geology
and hydrogeology on remediation.
Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience, but will certainly
be highly competitive within the marketplace.
