The MSc programme in Geotechnical Engineering Design and Management at
Nottingham Trent University is now established in both full time and part
time modes. The following notice gives outline details which may be of
interest to list members or colleagues and to final year undergraduate
students. Modules currently available as short courses are also listed.

CIVIL PATHWAY ( Subject to revalidation)
Structural Design, Structural Appraisal, Water Resource Engineering,
Structural Renovation,
Engineering Surveying, Masonry Technology
COMMON to both PATHWAYS
Construction Law and Safety, Project and Resource Management, Soil Mechanics
and Foundations Geosynthetics and Retaining Structures, Earthquake
Engineering, Railway Engineering
Project/Dissertation

Structural Renovation 2 weekends: 23,24 February, 9,10 March 2002
Earthquake Engineering 4 days: 21,22,25,26 March 2002.
Ground Improvement 4 days: 11,12,18,19 April 2002.
Structural Appraisal 2 weekends: 4,5 May, 18,19 May 2002
