Becky, thanks for your response, and for allowing me to forward it to the list. I quite agree that terminology like 'lifelong learning' and indeed 'elearning' can sometimes obscure what we are really about, whether online or on gallery - hopefully to inspire people to learn, in whatever mode works best for them.
I don't think anyone has replied yet from a libary or archive on this point - is the discussion framed such that it makes sense in your context?
