New Economy Statistical Indicator Systems (NESIS)
Postgraduate Studentships
The NESIS project is funded by the EU under the Framework V programme.
NESIS is concerned with the new economy and the e-society and, more
specifically, with the statistical indicators by means of which
policy-makers can monitor and steer them.
Commencing in October, two postgraduate studentships are available for
students wishing to work towards the MPhil/PhD, as part of the NESIS
team. Candidates should by then preferably have already completed a
research training Masters or equivalent.
The studentship will include both tuition fees and maintenance at
normal
research council rates.
Further details on NESIS and IFIPA can be obtained from their
respective
websites: http://nesis.jrc.it/ and: http://www.bath.ac.uk/ifipa/
