CALL FOR ENTRIES

INTERNATIONAL OPEN IMAGE (IOI) COMPETITION 2003

Prizes provided by Metro Imaging, Roxio and Artists & Illustrators Magazine

We are now pleased to be inviting entries for this
Competition and Showcase Exhibition.

This Competition is open to all areas of creative media supporting 
the promotion of talent within the fields of digital imaging, photography, 
installations, painting, sculpture & mixed media.

Showcase for winning entries to be held at the Deluxe Gallery & 
Creative space in Hoxton Square London, in an area that is 
building a reputation as one of the leading art centres in Europe.

Deluxe Gallery develops & builds on New Media exhibitions within 
London, it was founded in June 2002 as a specialist venue for 
creatives' who use computers to generate or modify their work.

International Open Image (IOI) fully supports the Deluxe belief 
that the possibilities that technology offers has lead to increased 
experimentation by artists and the creation of new forms of visual media. 
The application of these forms is wide, ranging from fine art 
through to video, sound and virtual reality.

Entries need to have been created, modified or inspired by technology  
(see competition guidelines) 

Entry Fees will be £15 for one entry, 
£10 for each entry if more than one artwork is submitted, 
£5 per entry for students.

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES Friday 20th December 2002

Prize winners awards will be a specially produced artwork/sculpture. 
Winning entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts. 

Entries can be sent in on-line as JPEG files,
By post in a A4 print format on CD rom or VHS Video.
