You're quite right, David - though she is American, and that shudder
against theatre doesn't seem to affect the American contributors.
I'm hoping that what I'm saying is not unintentionally obscuring the
lively interest I feel in the whole publication, which is very
stimulating; I was responding to something cris said here, and
initially to quotes from other pieces which took me aback slightly.
