<.. But what's this about Sultans of Swing? Don't recognize the

The examples were arbitrary, Candice. Isn't the stress in the NYT quote, on
'Doctors' (ie highly-ranked /qualified pro-s, masters of every 'spin

'Doctors of Spin'. I just thought 'Doctor' has something of the superlative
feel of 'Sultan' 'Empress' etc. as well as more faintly implied restoration:
Dr. Feelgood, Dr. Jazz, Dr.Theatre etc.)
<I prefer 'Gibber', John, even if its a typo.
A suspicious person might interpret this as a cunning interrogative, Dave.
Try to understand my problem. This all occurred a long time ago. I have no
actual....
<Didn't Dan Quayle at one point claim to be 'Doctor Spin'? Or was that
merely
<a comic attribution? (CW)
The mined bogles, Christopher!
