Subject: REACH

Dear Members,

The following message will no doubt be of interest! Roiyah

REACH is a registered charity which finds voluntary jobs in the hard pressed
voluntary organisations for people with managerial and professional skills
who are willing to spare time to assist voluntary sector organisations
engaged in community work. REACH is the largest in this field having placed
over 1000 volunteers in 2001.

REACH is fully aware that the number of Black and Ethnic Minorities in
London are growing rapidly and accordingly their requirement of volunteers
to manage grow.

REACH therefore, created a Special Focus in July of 2000 to meet the needs
of Black and Ethnic Minority Voluntary Organisation by setting up a full
time Project for this purpose.

REACH cordially invites voluntary organisations to access the large resource
of volunteers with managerial and professional experience that it has
developed over the last two decades. They can register their requirements on
line by going to web site www.volwork.org.uk.

REACH also welcomes volunteers with Professional /Business /Management
background willing to assist the voluntary sector particularly those
interested in helping the Black and Ethnic Minority Voluntary Organizations.
The volunteers can also register on line be logging to the above web site.

REACH volunteers are eager to offer specific business, managerial, and
professional skills on either long term or project basis. The volunteer are
experienced people who have acquired and honed their skills through the
years of work. Now retired, or taking a career break, or working full time,
they form a valuable pool of extra expertise for the benefit of the
voluntary organisations.

We assure you that all the Black and Ethnic Minority Voluntary Organisations
regardless of size are very welcome to utilise our services. Our service is
warm, friendly, prompt and above all FREE.

Kris Murari is the Project Manager. He has been a REACH volunteer for 6
years and has worked with several charities including the Prince's Trust and
the Victim Support.

He has strong business background and worked in many parts of the world
before taking on roles in the voluntary sector. The project having grown
rapidly, REACH has now added the services of Mr. K. Sen, Consultant to it.
Kris or Sen will welcome a call at 020 7582 6543.
