thanks for the information. Just a reminder about the workshops scheduled
for June at the Archives. George Ruddock, editor of the Gleaner will be
facilitating a workshop about Effective promotion of the Gleaner newspaper
on wednesday 12th June 12pm - 2pm. Orgnaisations have the opportunity of
winning free advertisisng space or one years subscription. Please include
this in any mial out you have.

George will be reminiscing about The Gleaner's history in the UK as well as
discussing how the paper is marketed and the challenges it faces as one of
the oldest black led newspapers in England. This workshops is particularly
interesting for all who not only plan to work in the sector but also
businesses and individuals who wish to use the press as a means of promoting
their products.
The next scheduled workshop facilitator is Rodney Hinds, Sports Editor of
the Voice newspaper, and the workshop will be held on Tuesday 18th June 6pm
- 8pm.
