With reference to Nigel's comments, I've just had to draft a new job
description, and I have made sure that it states that the holder of
my post should be registered. With any luck this should mean that
when the day comes when they advertise for my successor, this
will be on the person specification.
Perhaps we should all be telling our employers that it does mean
something.
