It's worth mentioning that the Flora of Iraq is still partly in print, at
prices far lower than those charged by secondhand bookshops. It
is the most detailed of all Near Eastern floras, & particularly rich in
ethnobotanical information & other things useful to
archaeobotanists.
In the US the complete set (excl. vols 5-7, not yet published) is
available for USD 60 from:
