POSTGRADUATE MEDICAL SCHOOL
SENIOR LECTURER/READER IN STATISTICS
Salary: 34,158 - 38,603 per annum depending on qualifications and
experience.
The Postgraduate Medical School's role is to promote the pursuit of
excellence in the delivery of healthcare through enhanced postgraduate
medical education, post-experience training and research and requires a
senior and experienced statistician in order to deliver high quality
statistical analytical advice. It was rated 5* in the recent RAE exercise
and conducts research in pharmaco-epidemiology, diabetes, coronary heart
disease, accidents and oncology.
The appointee will be expected to undertake statistical analyses and
modelling of data to a high standard and additionally to offer statistical
advice and supervision to other research in the department. In addition
the appointee will undertake research, publish papers and teach.
The post is permanent.
