Dear Mona,
may be, you should download the actual version of mni2tal
(http://www.mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk/Imaging/mnispace.html).
In the current version, 'line 4' , which seems to produce the error, is a
comment line and can not be the reason. Unfortunately, I have no older
version of it.
So, may be, that you have a mni2tal version, which is not running with your
Matlab 6. You should also check, if spm is permanent in your matlab path,
because
'spm_matrix' is called from mni2tal.
