Hester's Reel: A Square Dance
(for mr & mrs robinson)
last night I dreamed of mandarins
as rinds of you and me--a baker's
tune of doze endive w/cracklin'
villette to read the rushes by
a t'sk at eight's a gasket, big
pink, just a wee horse from the thaw
abide it to mark it a snowbird (feeble?)
we've flowers pristine, silver dales
do make good hill figures to rock
jiffy lobes alive with jays today
grok me (jaunty jaunty jaunty) maud-
lin dyspneac bar none. rain on, red
one bluetooth (prn), then milk that
trout for all she's worth, if you
would up peas & carrots hot, blackeyed
turkey in thyme (watt, 10 to 1 already?)
pork ditty's soup on sale, qua famille
cluelessly--you bet your luck, t'is
as ever, eddy, ant, laddy et tu--
