ECONOMETRIC STUDY GROUP
ANNUAL CONFERENCE - BRISTOL - 18-20 JULY 2002
CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS
The Econometric Study Group annual conference will again be held in
Bristol. The dates for this year's conference are Thursday 18 July
to Saturday 20 July. As in previous years, the conference will run
from Thursday afternoon through to Saturday lunchtime, with a
conference dinner on Friday evening. The conference is sponsored
by the Centre for Microdata Methods and Practice (cemmap) and the
Econometrics Journal.
Invited speakers for this year's conference will include:
Jerry Hausman (MIT)
"Estimation with Weak Instruments: Theory and Practice"
Yuichi Kitamura (Pennsylvania)
"Econometric Comparison of Conditional Models"
CONTRIBUTED PAPERS FOR PRESENTATION AT THE CONFERENCE ARE NOW INVITED.
Contributions are welcome in any area of econometrics: theoretical,
applied or computational.
