Chhecked with my colleagues in the Dept of N & M who say that this is
something that has been discussed recently - for storage purposes. They
consulted National Board, and it seems we should retain records for the
employment lifetime of an indiviual. I don't know if we have anything in
writing, I would have to check.
When transcripts of training are requested, e.g. for USA etc, the student
is charged £40. There is no charge for other Universities. These transcripts
are normally requested within a few year of completion of training, but
there have been exceptions - 30 years on and moving to USA.
