Members might like to know that the prestigious (and very good) U.S.
National Public Radio has made Kim the focus of a substantial and laudatory
segment.
The piece, which ran on NPR's lively and eclectic dinner-time program All
Things Considered on Saturday Dec. 29, is "pegged to" the novel's 100th
anniversary.
The item won't tell Society members anything new about Kim, but I for one
was certainly pleased that the radio report may draw new readers to RK's
work.
