I'm sure they do exist Ken, though I'm not sure if I'd call
them inequalities. Were not such differences (between, for
example, prisoners in concentration camps) one of the
stimuli for Antonovsky's 'sense of coherence'?

I'd put it the other way round: unequal power is
interesting mainly because of the unequal life chances
(including health chances) it generates......if unequal
power was merely a male gender game (which it is) without
any deleterious outcomes (which it isn't) I'm not at all
sure it would interest us....
