Dear All,
This may be my last update for a while as I am about to leave Georgia and
take a holiday before my next assignment.
Anyway, this week's newsletter is at www.duncanwil.co.uk/news0912.html In
summary, this week's offerings are:
1 Joe's Peanuts: an absorption and variable costing case study (an oldie but
very goody ... not mine, I'm afraid)
2 the balanced scorecard: a few notes and ideas
3 splitting text in a cell in Excel: a reminder cos I was late with it last
week
4 tables in HTML ... I've removed it for good reasons as you'll see!
5 a tongue in cheek look at modern Britain: a bit more fun for the festive
season
6 2 book reviews: Malachy McCourt's Singing My Him Song and Michael Dobbs'
Whispers of Betrayal
7 Anyone know? is still there and is attracting some interest.
Finally, I would like all of my visitors (and another record number last
month, thank you) to register so that I can send my mail to them in a more
targetted way: please follow the links on the Ho! Ho! Home Page and in the
newsletter. Remember, this site is absolutely private and there is no danger
of anyone getting my mailing list: you won't be receiving offers from Lolita
or messages that start with the dreaded words "This really works" or even
offers to give you a 300 year mortgage with a negative interest rate.
Please sign up as I sign off!
Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year if I don't write before then.
