Hello Steve,
You might want to check the patient out on a jogging machine (what's that
called again in English?). If you'd have a video camera, that would be
preferable. That way you could play it in slow-motion. If nothing is
aberrant on that machine, and the ROMs of the involved joints (up to and
including the lower spine) and muscles are OK, I'd also wanna know of he
indeed always runs on one side of curved roads (to and from then are of
course the opposite sides, but biomechanically he then always runs with the
same leg lower than the other).
Furthermore, you might wanna think of a vascular problem. Pain with running
should however occur then, IMO.
