What is the significance of December 3rd for our community?
Was there an international victory of people who are physically impaired and
have learning difficulties?
Was a great international campaigner born on that day? If so whom?
Did a great international campaigner die on that day. If so whom?
Was a there great victory on that day? If so what?
Who chose it? Why was it chosen?
Who was consulted? When was the consultation?
To me it is the wrong time of year and here in the UK this year it was a bit of a damp squid. Maybe we should make policies about our day(s) that are friendly to our communities needs?
We need to be seen?
We need to be able heard and our presence sensed otherwise we will be marginalised
out of existence.
Please share your thoughts and knowledge.
