Protest. The book will be co-edited by Dr Gary Taylor. The book aims to provide an undergraduate readership with a series of perspectives on

current 'crisis of democracy'. The volume already includes proposals for issues such as:
* Alienation and youth
* Political activity and youth
* The unemployed
* Women and polices in Europe
* Sexual minorities
* Anti-racism
* Peace movement
* Early environmental movements
* Free Speech, democracy and protest
* Post Modern perspectives of Democracy
We are still currently looking for contributions covering the following areas:
* Feminism/post feminism and democracy
* Ecology movement and democracy
* Disability movements
We would also be interested to hear of other themes for possible contributions to this volume. The deadline for submission
is September 2002 for publication in March 2003. If you are interested, could you please contact me for further details. I can provide you
will full submission details and a list of other authors.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Regards
