Hi,
I'm currently finishing off an article on Adorno's Ethics for the
European Journal of Philosophy. A very careful and helpful referee told
me that somewhere Adorno writes that the only happiness available to
modern man is "das bittere Glueck der Erkenntnis"? But he could not
remember where, I have searched through Aesthetic Theory, Minima Moralia
and most of Negative Dialectics but I cannot find this phrase. Does
anyone know where it is?
I would be very glad of any assistance. I'm tired of looking (and not
finding).
Yours gratefully
