Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada seeks applicants for a
tenure-track joint appointment in Computer Science and Cognitive
Science
at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor commencing July 1,
2002. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. and a solid record of
research in artificial intelligence and ability to teach the subject
at all levels. A new Minor in Cognitive Science for computer science
students will be a major part of the responsibilities of the position.
For suitable candidates, teaching a senior logic course (Philosophy)
is a possibility. Salary and terms and conditions of employment will
be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Carleton
