Dear Susie,
I too have completed a similar diploma fe course, which was not
accredited either. Apparently they are thin on the ground and more
expensive anyway. However, you can keep records of supervised
counselling hours (start now!), and when you have 450 supervised
counselling hours, you can apply for BACP accreditation, and along with
a couple of other criteria, which I'm not sure about right this moment,
that's about it. Apart from the money that is!
The other alternative is UKCP of course, but I don't know much about
them either.
Good luck in your course
Amanda
