Thank you Steve I will talk to the supervisor Althea and see what she can
do.
Also my own therapist today told me that I should report the tuning out and
rocking back and forth to the supervisor cause it might be a new development
occuring that needs to be treated. I am not aware of these people's
diagnosis only what the problem is. He made aware that no one might be aware
that she does this.

Wise Owl (a fairly large finger puppet I used as part of story telling)
sitting on the computer monitor. I told the child that Athene was there to
watch and help her with the project. It seemed to work. She spoke to it from
time to time and kept her focus (I have no idea whether or not she heard it
reply). The down side was she also kept the puppet, which I have had to
replace.

(Microsoft provide several for Windows systems) so that it appears if the
keyboard is not used for several seconds. You can equip these popups with
appropriate sound files if that helps, e.g. a recording of you saying
positive and helpful things.

came to my mind yesterday that with all this work she is still getting about
a 40 on her exams. I think she is autistic. She has speech deficits if left
alone she plays with a toy one of those hand held games. She just stares and
plays.

well I checked back and she is playing with the toy. When I told her to get
started she did then when I left she went back to the toy.
