Dear Sue,
I wonder whether "altered state of awareness (consciousness)" would be p-c
acceptable in order to be p(olitically) c(orrect)???? Rogers worked on a
video with Kathy where she talked about her cave and he simply stayed with
her experience of the cave and the phenomena - I don't recall him having a
word for it other than her cave, so perhaps that could be your "reference" -
Rogers stays with client's description of what is??
Good Luck. Writing for boards etc can be SOOOOO exasperating...but usually
worth it in the end in terms of integrating theory (where there is enough
that is written of course!"!)
All the best
Audrey
