Looks like you're living on the edge: relax!
I'm not an economist and hadn't come across the term yardstick competition
before but see that it's at least a cousin of benchmarking. I see that some
people use yardstick competition and benchmarking in the same breath. In any
case, it seems possible to unravel it.
Unbundling costs is another matter and is more straightforward from my
point of view.
Over the weekend I expect to be able to give you the low down on unbundling
and yardsticks: hope you can wait!
