The Economics Subject Centre of the LTSN is hosting a workshop for
those new to the profession at the London School of Economics &
Political Science.
The aim of the event is to help 'new lecturers' in their work, and to
form a special network, supported by the Subject Centre, through which
they can share ideas, experiences and address real issues facing
lecturers of Economics in HE. The term 'new lecturers' is defined
broadly and includes recently appointed lecturers as well as
postgraduates and staff teaching part-time.
The workshop will be highly participative in nature and will offer
various opportunities for the formal and informal exchange of views and
models of practice. The programme will include three workshops
facilitated by winners of the annual Economics LTSN Learning and
Teaching awards and presentations by winners of the LSE Teaching
awards.
The information regarding the workshop and the booking form is
available from http://www.economics.ltsn.ac.uk/events/newlecs.htm
Hope to see you there.
Regards,
Inna Pomorina
