Hello everyone. Please pass this on to anyone who might be interested
(and who is, will be or might want to work in Washington, DC).
Having left my position as Assistant Secretary of the Office of Special
Education and Rehabilitative Services in the Department of Education
under Clinton, I have started my own consulting firm, Heumann &
Associates. Right now I am looking for an
administrative/executive/personal assistant to work with me. Heumann &
Associates focuses on the integration of disabled people into society
through the effective implementation of public policy. As President of
Heumann & Associates, I am a frequent public speaker and regularly
interact with the media. I also consult with various foundations,
corporations and other organizations to further their integration of
disability issues into employment, education, grant programs and other
such areas. My assistant works with me on all levels and gets hands-on
experience in all of these areas, not to mention the administrative
aspects of a new and developing company. Please see the job description
below. If you are interested in this job or if you know anyone who
might be, please contact me or pass it on as soon as possible. Thank
you.
The Honorable Judith E. Heumann
