Turtles of Malaysia
Thursday 15th November, 7.00p.m, at The Royal Geographical Society,
Kensington Gore, London
In Malaysia, poaching of eggs from Green Turtles' nesting sites has
reduced the population by 60% in the last 50 years. Dr. Mark Hamann of
the University of Queensland talks about how Earthwatch volunteers are
working with him to research nesting dynamics to help restore turtle
numbers.
This lecture is free, but admission is by ticket only.
