Come on Simon, I know a GP locally with more
anaesthetic experience and trauma/A and E experience
than ANY SpR's in the speciality. He doesn't work in
A/E because it ain't much of a challenge compared with
the prehospital care arena he works in! (not me)
There are many different kinds of GP's - for some it
is simply a lifestyle choice. Being a hospital Doc
does not neccesarily give you cart blanche on
specialism and experience.(How do you know what a GP
did before he became a GP ? ).
Do try and think about individuals before you make
sweeping statements.
Iain (not as defensive as this sounds)
