In my experience, the upper-limb in 'stroke' patients take a much longer
time to recover to normal. There may, sometimes, be a long period of
flaccidity, G.H. subluxation and lack of movement, even though a patient
might be walking.
Can anyone discuss the current trends for supporting (or not) the affected
limb during mobilizing. I have been told by one professional, not to use
any slings etc.
