Two appointments were announced in the Guardian today (9.10.01):
1. Discipline leader for social work, with a focus on managing and developing the discipline, within the School of Health and Social Care.
2. Lecturer/Senior lecturer in social work
School is committed to a leading role in developing the Modernisation Agenda within higher education. There are opportunities for
collaborative research, and for extending the existing development of inter-professional education.
Active researchers, with a good publication record, will be welcome in both posts and opportunities to engage in School wide research are
currently available. We are particularly seeking staff who can contribute to teaching in the fields of older people and disability. This is
essential for the L/SL post and desirable for the Discipline leader post. The ability to teach in the areas of sexuality and HIV/Aids also
welcome. For further information and discussion contact Roger Greeff on 0114 225 2387
