MESSAGE FROM
Richard Golding
The text that I have sent out reads as follows:
This is to remind you about the next event in the Physics in Finance
Group meeting programme, the major international conference 'APFA 3'
which we are organising with the European Physical Society. To access
complete information about the programme, the speakers, and submitting
a paper to the conference, please access the conference website
http://www.eps.org/apfa/ .
The conference will be held from the afternoon of 5th December through to
the end of 7 December in the Museum of London on London Wall in the City
of London (http://www.museumoflondon.org.uk/). The deadline for
submitting abstracts is now 15 October 2001.The broad themes of the
conference will be Financial Market Analysis, Financial Market Dynamics,
and Derivative Pricing and Risk Management.
There is a strong line up of keynote speakers, and we have been impressed
by the high quality and significance of the large number of abstracts of
papers received so far, which report many new, original, and interesting
advances. We expect the conference will attract the participation of risk
managers, analysts, and 'quants' from the leading Investment Banks. This
is a golden opportunity for the econophysics world to meet the major
commercial players and communicate the excitement and significance of
current research.
Please note that if you wish to register, you should do so by Monday 15
October as the conference fees will rise after that date. You may
register via the website:alternatively you can select, print out and
complete the form below and submit it by fax or post.
Looking forward to seeing you at the conference,
yours sincerely
Dr. Richard Golding
